I don't know which car to go with? I'm looking at style AND SAFETY. I don't want to get squished.?

Cody Petrulis: WRT the current Astra being huge. This is an ages old phenomenon known as car inflation. Another example, the current mark of Polo is bigger than the MK1 Golf, the focus now is where the Cortina was in the Ford range and the Mondeo where the Granada was, in terms of mid-70s size 7 weight.

Chauncey Williama: I'd go with the Accord, it is probably about the most reliable and gets good fuel mileage. They also look good.

Anibal Katayama: on the safety area of your question, i was hit by a bus a few years ago and the car still drives adn i am just fine. sure the car has a war wound but you would to after getting hit by anything that size also. i also enjoy about 30 mpg, with my lead foot.

Launa Weingarten: I would go with the Mazda or the Accord. Safety depends on the person behind the wheel, not the car. That person is YOU!! You have just about zero driving skills and experience. Personally I would not provide you with a car until you wer! e 18. Style means nothing. Another issue that needs to be considered is cost of insurance. A two door car such as the Accord coupe will cost more that the same car in a four door. Mustang will be very expensive to insure.Again, if you don't want to get squished, you have to drive the car safely and skillfully.Good Luck...Show more

Margy Sandquist: No VW if you want reliability. Mustang is a toss up. Depending on service history it could be good or not. The Honda and Acura are pretty much the same. Honda is cheaper. Acura is upscale Honda.Mazda is ok. Scion tC is a Toyota. I would go with the Accord - but then I am partial since I have a 2009 Accord Coupe....Show more

Irma Poiter: try a volvo, they look good they last long and they are very safe
