Jill Thomer: As long as the Smartphone is locked to verizon or an unlocked phone, such as a Palm Treo, you shouldn't have any problems with it. I would assume when you talk about an access card, you mean Sim Card? Any GSM service PDA that is unlocked should be able to access the system of your choice. One call to your service provider so they can download all the software into your phone and you should be ready to go!I bought an unlocked Palm Treo and use it on my T-Mobile service and it took less than 2 minutes to set this up! My preference would be with Palm. Their operating systems don't seem to have the problems normally associated with Microsoft applications!
