First, your camcorder needs to be digital in order to plug it into a PC. An analog camcorder can still be used, but you would need some sort of capture device to convert the video to digital so it can be recorded onto your PC.If your camcorder is digital, it likely has a USB Mini-B port (see the smaller end of the cable in the first image in my source).
