calling all dental hygienists!!!!!!! i need help?

Jose Calaycay: First, look into a community college, and find out the requirements about the program. Usually, it is a two year program. Ask your own dentist if you can sit in on a couple exams or look at a couple xrays. He'll probably be happy to give you some tips or reading material! Go to a local bookstore like Borders and read up on updated books! A lot of it is really learned in school, but it is very overwhelming, so be prepared to devote every waking hour to it!

Clinton Migliori: Work at a dental place, its good experience and will help you out in the long run, like when you get into dental hygiene classes, you will actually know a little background on the material.

Randal Deyarmond: THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS DEDICATION AND A LOVE FOR LEARNING.WHY?IT REQUIRES DEDICATION TO DO WELL IN SCHOOL.IT TAKES A LOVE OF LEARNING TO KEEP UP WITH ALL THE SCIENTIFIC FACTS CONCERNING THE BIOLOGY AND SCIENCE OF DENTAL HYGIENE. JUST IMAGINE YOURSELF GRADUATING AND E! ARNING YOUR DEGREE....Show more

Bud Espenshade: Extra curricular activities?

Mercedez Trabue: good grades, sadly is what you'll need to be accepted into dental hygiene school. working in a dental office will familiarize you with the jargon, but in the long run you'll be in the same boat as everyone else. classes are difficult, schedule becomes hectic at times. talk to some of the instructors and let them know how interested you are in the dental hygiene profession. go for it though, you'll be glad you did.
