Antonia Mogg: The Bible clearly has a strong stance against divorce.Divorce should be illegal.
Jerald Florence: Many people unfairly treat women unfairly when it comes to issues relating to marriage because the Bible says woman are supposed to be obedient to their husbands. But the Bible also says that a husband needs to love and support his wife. It sounds like he's not holding up his end of the bargain very well.
Branden Roddick: love dare. god didnt choose who you marry but you made a vow to him forgiveness is the Ultimate and everyone can have had in their and be really changed if there willing to accept the change pray seek and fast and hold onto jesus.maybe y'all both stopped trying a marriage takes watering everyday save your marriage god can do anything we serve a mighty mighty god and he is a big god. god bless. god will forgive you if you get a divorce simple as that but fight for it first. trust god....Show more
Lorelei Lilburn: Not only doe! s God "not like divorce" but the scriptures say that God hates divorce. There is a deeper issue here than your mom reasoning that God dislikes divorce because he also hates Adultery. 1 Cor says that adulterers will not inherit the kingdom. 1 Cor 7 says that if the wife wants to stay let her stay but if she wants to leave let her leave. Where we go wrong with this passage is that we think let her leave means divorce. That is not what it is saying. Is it possible for there to be a separation for a period of time. This might benefit all the family members. I would suggest that if your parents are in a place of fellowship they should seek marriage counseling. What God has brought together let no man tear apart. God will give the grace where sin was abounding. He can change your mom and your dad. I hope this helps....Show more
Rhett Kaines: I'm going to give you my opinion. This may not be what you think, or what others think, but I will say what I feel I need to say.God l! oves every single person he put on this earth. He created us, ! and shaped each and every one of us differently. If it weren't for God, none of us would be here.In my opinion, there is no hell. Why would God, put one of his own people in such a horrible place? To me, he wouldn't. We all have done some bad things in our lives. For some people more than others..but I think God put us here, for us to live life and learn lessons. If you have done something bad, ask for forgiveness, learn from your mistake and move on in life.Love doesn't last forever. It doesn't. There's always going to be points in your life, where the happy part ends. You've reached that point in your marriage and your husband just no longer loves you. Your chemistry died away. If you want a divorce, I can promise you, with all of my heart, you will not go to hell. God wouldn't punish you because your husband doesn't love you anymore, so you want a divorce so you can move on with your life.God is gonna love you no matter what.Remember that....Show more
Corey Rohlede! r: There is no real issue (from a Biblical point of view) if you choose to divorce him. That is no marriage and the sooner you both put a stop to it the better. Remarry if you must, and there is no guilt in it. You will not go to hell or be committing adultery if you remarry. God does not want you to suffer any longer than necessary. He is loving, compassionate and understanding, and not an ogre. Lose your guilt and just do it. Some Chirstians will of course judge you and shun you. But just ignore them and look to Jesus. Remember He is the one who ate and dined with prostitutes and sinners like you and me. He knows what you are going through. Be strong and of good courage....Show more
Oda Mauson: You have at least as many rights as a slave. Your husband withholding your conjugal rights is grounds for divorce and if you have a valid divorce you are free to marry someone else.Exodus 21:9:11 And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the mann! er of daughters. If he take him another [wife]; her food, her raiment, ! and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish. And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money....Show more
Salvatore Walls: Bubbles is 100% correct. The Bible says that Jesus said the only 2 acceptable reasons for divorce were death and adultery.
Irvin Guiles: The bible makes it clear that the only two grounds for a legal divorce in Gods eyes, are death and adultery. You can however separate, but not legal to marry again (in Gods eyes). And hell is mans common grave, nothing more or nothing less. Not the burning torment with the devil as the clergy have made it out to be....Show more
