Gregory Dilg: Doctors calculate your due date by counting 40 weeks from the first day of your last period. It makes no sense because obviously you weren't pregnant then, but that's how they do it, and it seems to work! But if you get an ultrasound and your due date changes, that will be the most accurate due date because in early ultrasounds babies generally have the same measurements for how far along they are.
