Tomi Vauters: Congrats on expecting...Do men with a whole natural penis wish that the movingparts were cut off and that thousands of PLEASURE nerves be disconnected from the brain. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only about 0.5% of males who are left intact at birth end up getting circumcised later in life. That tells you the foreskin parts are not as much of a problem as people make it out to be, and Men LIKE their foreskin parts. On the other side, look up Foreskin Restoration. Many cut men are angry with their parents fro taking away parts of their body. Many cut men do not regret circumcision as they have no clue about what they lost -- they don't understand the 20000 pleasure nerves? Your husband does have nipples, fingertips and lips that have similar nerve endings.Only about half of boys your sons age will have had parts of their penis cut off. It is your sons penis and not your husbands. Your son will use it not you or your husband. Also, dads that are cut will never know t! he pleasure of all of those nerves that a man with a natural penis has. Cut dads don't always really know all of the issues.A study in the International Journal of Menâs Health shows that circumcised men have a 4.5 times greater chance of suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED) than intact men, revealing what appears to be a significant acquisition vector. Other studies have previously observed that circumcisionâs damage results in worsened erectile functioning, inability to maintain an erection, and reducing the glans sensitivity, including an overall penis sensitivity reduction by 75%. A recent study discovered that premature ejaculation is five times more likely when adjusted for erectile dysfunction and circumcision. A new Danish study also found that circumcised men are much more likely to have ED.I understand that a babies future sexual pleasure is not the first thing that many consider, but it is very important. It is never reasonable to take erogenous tissue aw! ay from another human without asking. Please give that some th! ought.National medical associations DO NOT recommend infant circumcision. There is no data that shows HIV, HPV or any STD change or any real benefit to cutting off parts of a baby boys penis in the US, EU JP.... Real world studies how that a man with a natural penis is at no higher risk of HIV and HPV.You should know that infant boys are EASIER to care for when they are natural (intact). The foreskin does not retract until late childhood or even puberty, so you do nothing special, just wipe the outside of his penis clean and leave it alone. Furthermore, to prevent painful and bleeding erections later in life, doctors are now commonly leaving more skin behind- in a cut boy this means you may have to push the left over skin back at every diaper change and clean beneath it to prevent it from adhering or infecting. The very thing that mother's think they avoid by circumcising! In short- Intact = wipe like a finger, NEVER retract Cut= vaseline, clean thoroughly, push back remain! ing skin to prevent adhesions etc (the last step perhaps for several months or years). It is actually not cleaner to have a cut up penis. It has now also been observed that natural boys have the same bacteria as natural girls and that cut boys have different (invasive) bacteria. A partial penis (cut up penis) is just missing parts, but as such it is invaded by not natural bacteria. The following is certainly a different (and more logical) view of Hygiene:"My experience as a pediatrician has convinced me that circumcision makes the penis dirtier, a fact that was confirmed by a study recently published in the British Journal of Urology.1 For at least a week after circumcision, the baby is left with a large open wound that is in almost constant contact with urine and feces--hardly a hygienic advantage. Additionally, throughout life the circumcised penis is open and exposed to dirt and contaminants of all kinds. The wrinkles and folds that often form around the circumcision scar ! frequently harbor dirt and germs. Thanks to the foreskin, the intact pen! is is protected from dirt and contamination. While this important protective function is extremely useful while the baby is in diapers, the foreskin provides protection to the glans and urinary opening for a lifetime. At all ages, the foreskin keeps the glans safe, soft, and clean.Throughout childhood, there is no need to wash underneath the foreskin. Mothers used to be advised to retract the foreskin and wash beneath it every day. This was very bad advice indeed. When the foreskin becomes fully retractable, usually by the end of puberty, your son can retract it and rinse his glans with warm water while he is in the shower."...Show more

Also when being muscular most of guys like to show them off (otherwise they wouldn't work out) and so they walk in a manner people will have to see them; though as i told you, if they are big muscular (like using steroids type) they won't be able to walk like most of people, it will always look weird.

Travis Colomb: I am intact and proud of it! (note I don't use the term 'uncircumcised' as it implies that 'circumcised' is somehow normal - which it isn't). You are quite right not to have your son subjected to what can only really be described as mutilation of the most despicable kind.Lots of parents in the US are convinced that circumcision can prevent problems occurring to their son's penis later in life but if you look at it logically, who says that it can prevent problems from developing in future? Doctors!Doctors who are employed by health insurance companies. Health insurance companies who don't want to pay out for the very rare problems and complications that can arise from being intact such as phimosis.Health insurance companies that would rather you pay them instead so that they can sell your son's foreskin to cosmetic and biomedical tissue companies for use in research and production of cosmetic! s such as high-end skin creams. It's in their own interest to encourage ! routine infant circumcision. It's a different story here in the UK, the NHS (National Health Service) sees circumcision for what it is, an unnecessary procedure that should only be performed for therapeutic reasons such as the treatment of phimosis. To routinely circumcise baby boys is therefore seen as a waste of taxpayers money (which it is). The result of this? The overwhelming majority of males in the UK are as intact as the day they were born and is the NHS overwhelmed by men suffering from all the problems that the health insurance companies in America claim that having an intact penis can cause? No.Any problems that do occur (which are pretty rare) are usually dealt with by non-surgical means first, circumcision is always only ever a last resort.Trust me, your son will thank you for leaving him intact with all the nerve endings that he was born with. With all the nerve endings that will give him that extra bit of pleasure that circumcised men don't get to enjoy (it! stands to reason that if you remove a body part that has nerve endings in it you remove the sensation that that body part delivers). And since, thankfully, the rate of routine infant circumcision in the US is in decline, those that have been circumcised will be the ones in the minority in the changing rooms. And if any girl has anything negative to say about your son being intact then she's obviously far too narrow-minded to be worthy of dating him! All that's needed is to educate girls that the penis is meant to be intact, it's meant to have a foreskin, and as long as he keeps it clean, it will cause both him and her no problems at all....Show more

Bell Pasco: The only reason why circumcision should be done is to abide by a religious tradition or for a specific medical condition. No matter what "complications" a vagina may go through, circumcision is not a course of action taken by any medical professional in America. It would rarely be necessary. It's actually illegal in America, because our culture has learned to hate any alteration of any kind to the female genitalia. It doesn't make any sense that no woman is ever getting her vagina cut, and yet men are getting their genitals cut. Women get just as many infections and they get adhesions and sometimes the vagina doesn't open up properly. In every one of these cases, science has come up with ways to deal with these problems without having to cut out parts of the vagina. In America, unfortunately, the science community has failed in providing the same level of study towards the male anatomy. In fact, most of the scientists and members of the sc! ientific community in America don't have a natural penis and are therefore unqualified to even speak on the subject. An entire body part is being spoken about, based on hearsay. If scientists got together and stopped allowing cultural tendencies to influence them, they would be able to treat the male penis, the same way they treat the female vagina. Most countries around the world do not circumcise and doctors in Japan or China have all kinds of treatments for penises that don't involve circumcision.Circumcision is just a big hoax and unfortunately is always damaging to the penis. It is unnatural and changes the penis' function and sensations. Circumcision of the male doesn't do anything more than what circumcision on a female would do. If a female got circumcised (had her clitoral hood/labia minora removed), you could argue that it's "cleaner," and that it helps prevent STD's, and that it "looks better," but we all know it doesn't matter because it's just not necessary and ! it would affect the sexual sensations. The male genitals are the exact ! same. There is nothing good about it and it's completely unscientific, since we know that the human genitals come from the same material in the womb and have evolved over millions of years to be used with all of the parts working together. By taking out the foreskin, the penis head dries up and loses sensations and the penis skin becomes taut and stiff and can no longer provide pleasure throughout the penis with its gliding motion. If you do decide to keep your son uncircumcised and natural, just remember that to take care of the natural penis, it is the same as taking care of a natural vagina. You don't pull open the foreskin of the boy, just like you wouldn't open the vagina of a little girl. The baby boy's foreskin will come fused to the penis head, just like a vagina will be fused in a baby girl. All you have to do is wash the outside of the penis like a finger. When the baby boy reaches puberty (11, 12, 13 years old), the genitals will begin to enlarge and mature and th! at's when you can teach the boy to pull back his foreskin and wash himself once a day, so his penis doesn't smell.Anyway, I know this is a big topic, and you should probably just cool off for a bit and take it slow. No matter what you choose, you need to let your husband know that you still love him for who he is and that you don't hold his penis against him.If you're doing it for religious reasons, then circumcision is being done as a sacrifice for that faith. Otherwise, circumcision should not be done.At the same time, I realize that you are in a loving relationship and sometimes you have to give and take in a relationship and you may choose to have the child circumcised to appease his father. In that case, at least you can be informed about circumcision and what it is.It would be a good thing, however, if you could explain to him your position and explain to him why circumcision is an unnecessary procedure. Also, only about 50-60% of Americans are being circumcised as ne! wborns nowadays, so it's not as common as it used to be....Show more
Gilberto Cratin: I'm circumcised. I was born in Armenia, where less men our circumcised. My family is Jewish however. We immigrated to the U.S when I was 3. I am very happy I am circumcised.I can understand why some parents might be a bit turned off by the idea of circumcision, but its not done like it use to be done. You can request painkillers for your child. The extra amount of access skin on the penis is unhealthy, its more prone to infection if the penis gets a cut, erectile dysfunction. Also, there is strong evidence to support that circumcision greatly reduces the risk of HIV. A study done among heterosexual men in sub-Saharan Africa shows a decreased risk of between 38 percent and 66 percent over two years. This is because the superficial skin layers of the penis contain Langerhans cells, which are targeted by HIV; removing the foreskin reduces the number of these cells. When an uncircumcised penis is erect during intercourse, any small tears on the inner surfac! e of the foreskin come into direct contact with the vaginal walls, providing a pathway for transmission. When an uncircumcised penis is flaccid, the pocket between the inside of the foreskin and the head of the penis provides an environment conducive to pathogen survival; circumcision eliminates this pocket. Plus, a circumcised penis is generally considered more appealing in the United States, your son not being circumcised might come back to him if he wants to enlist in branches of the military or play certain sports. In reality, its over in just a few seconds, its the healthiest option.Read more here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcision#Sexually...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcision_and_HIV...Show more

Byron Fortmann: I was circumcised at birth, and I hate it. I hate how I was permanently robbed of essential erogenous tissue when I could not resist or say no. This is one of the major reasons why I have dysthymia/depression and why I depend on medication just to be mentally stable enough to stay alive. I am currently restoring my foreskin using tissue expansion and have experienced simply unbelievable gains in sexual pleasure and function, but this won't be enough to fix all of the physical and mental damage. The foreskin is not a vestigial piece of skin. The foreskin has three major functions.1. It prevents the glans (head) from becoming dry and numb. The glans is a mucous membrane (like the inside of your eyelids) and is not meant to be exposed to the outside environment. If the glans is exposed to the outside environment for too long, the ! body is forced to compensate for the lack of foreskin via a layer of keratin (the same material that composes your fingernails, albeit much thinner). This layer gets thicker with age and comes at the expense of sensitivity. This is why the US, which is 4.5% of the world's population, consumes 47% of the world's Viagra. In Israel, where circumcision is even more common, ED is so prevalent that Viagra is sold over the counter.2. The foreskin reduces friction during sex, increasing pleasure for both partners. The South American man you dated may have told you that he was intact simply so that you were not surprised if you ever saw his penis. If you did end up having sex with him, chances are you would have enjoyed sex with him better than you would with a circumcised man. Women who have had sex with both circumcised and uncircumcised men pretty much universally prefer uncircumcised men. There are several reasons for this, but the gliding motion is one of the major ones.3. The ! foreskin itself is enriched with tens of thousands of specialized nerve! endings that directly contribute to most all of a man's sexual pleasure. If you have your son circumcised, you would be permanently cheating him out of a huge portion of what he will be able to feel in his life from masturbation and sex. Your husband may be glad that he is circumcised, but that doesn't mean that your son would also. Your husband may not be aware of the damage, but that doesn't mean that the damage isn't there.Your husband may be exhibiting what is known as "Adamant Father Syndrome." This is when a soon-to-be father insists that his son be circumcised, regardless of any arguments that are thrown at him. This is because that if he admits that his son should not be circumcised, he would be admitting that he himself is sexually damaged. As such, you must stand your ground against him if you truly feel that you don't want your son to be circumcised. This is precisely what happened to me. My mother did not want me cut, but my father did because of Adamant Father! Syndrome. My mother caved in, I was permanently sexually damaged, and now my relationship with my father is forever scarred, and I have been having mental stability issues ever since I heard about the damage. There is a common misconception that intact penises are "nasty" because of buildup. Any buildup that does form is harmless and can easily be removed in the shower. Besides, women develop much more buildup than men, yet you don't hear of them choosing to have their labia removed to treat this "problem."If, for some reason, your son is mocked for having an intact body, he can be glad in knowing that he is the one with the high ground; his most sensitive tissue wasn't hacked off at birth. Circumcision itself has its risks, including, but not limited to, tight painful erections for the rest of a man's life, skin bridges (where penile skin abnormally fuses to the glans), loss of the penis and even death due to shock, bleeding, infection, or the anesthetic itself (which is ! not meant to be used on infants). Foster Koopmann: There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks. The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluidâ"such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva.
