Kpop entertainment auditions?

Rosann Mccomb: Well there's the big 3 YG,JYP,and SM.Out of those SM is the most famous, with YG following closely after, and JYP.After that there's a bunch of other little companies scattered around.By my knowledge, I know that SM is 80% looks and 20% talent, JYP Is 50/50, and as for YG talent over shadows your looks so maybe 70% talent and 30% looks. SM entertainment guarantees you the most success, they promote there artists very well. The companies look for a 12-16 age group.Anything beyond 17 you might as well give up.Of course the training is strict.! That's a really stupid question to ask.If you made the auditions round which are deadly challenging what makes you think they'll give you a break in trainee life.?The competition increases from there.Monday-Friday: Basically, you go to school. Then, you go back home (or to your dorm) to do homework until you finish. At 7 in the evening, you get Korean Language classes with a private tutor for an hour, then dance and singing! lessons. Training ends at 10:30.Saturday: Training by yourself from 1:30-9; you may have some private language lessons, although you will be expected to review on your own as well.Sunday: None, lots of Koreans go to church/ have a day off....Show more

Ivan Velazquez: JYP, SM, YG only ones where they audition internationally.Training is more emotional than physical. You away from family and get to see them every now and then, and that's if your family is in Korea. If your a foreigner, you almost never get to see or speak to them. Then you have Sundays and Holidays off along with random breaks. You think you get to fly home, right? Nope, if you do you have to pay. The enterta! inment companies only pay for necessities like food, shelter, ! water, clothes, all that stuff including TV and computer. And it's random, so you can't really plan anything. Along with that, you have school, which is the basic Math, Science, and History. Then you have Vocals, Dance, Language, and even Acrobatics. You pretty much packed with stuff, so you have almost no private life. This is just a general idea. Every company has their own way of training....Show more

Leticia Laiben: Its up to you to decide which kpop entertainment company is the best...like which fits your style. There is a lot more than just jyp, sm, and yg. However jyp, sm, and yg are more well-known and have international auditions. Training is definitely strict and pretty hard. You have to learn different languages, learn to sing, learn to dance...and it can go on for a years. Jo kwon had to go through training for eight years and its pretty hard. Considering that so many want to be kpop idols, there is definitely more competition between trainees and also whet! her you are going to debut or not is also a question....Show more
